Kinlet Family Playgroup

We are a friendly Nursery Group run by a highly qualified and caring staff team who are committed to providing high quality child care and education.

We work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop and encourage parents to become involved and to help shape the future of our Playgroup through parent rotas and the parent run management committee.

The Playgroup has been re-awarded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is conveniently situated off the B4363 (Cleobury Mortimer to Bridgnorth Road) in the beautiful rural grounds of Kinlet C of E School in its own building with integrated outside play area.

A high staff to pupil ratio is maintained to ensure a safe and stimulating environment and the current EYFS curriculum is followed. All facilities are designed and made to measure for pupils.

The Playgroup is currently open on Mondays to Fridays – 9.00 am to 3.15 pm during  term time only. The sessions are very competitively priced and they accept 15 and 30 hour funding for 3 and 4 years olds, as well as 24U funding for qualifying 2 year olds.

We also run a parent-toddler session called ‘Little Tiddlers’ on Friday mornings from 9.30 to 11.30 am term time only, within our normal Playgroup session also at a reasonable cost per session. This gives younger children a great opportunity to mix with other children and to get used to a childcare setting while their parent or carer is with them to offer support.
